These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nailroom ("the App"), developed by Nigelware ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Nailroom is a try-on app for nail designs. You can browse a curated library, describe a look in your own words, or import a screenshot, then see that look painted on a photo of your hands. A journal lets you log sets you have actually had done. Nailroom is for personal, non-commercial use.
Try-ons are a visualization. They are not a salon consultation, a medical opinion, or a guarantee of how a design will look on your nails in real life. Do not use the App as a substitute for a licensed nail technician or any health professional.
The App is not directed at children under 13. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, or that you are using it with a parent's or guardian's consent where required.
Saved looks and journal entries are stored on your device. You are responsible for that data. Deleting the App permanently removes it. We cannot recover it. See our Privacy Policy.
When you try a look on, the App sends your hand photo (or a screenshot for Inspo / Describe) to a cloud renderer so it can paint the design. Results can still be incomplete, awkward, or wrong. We may refuse or interrupt a request that is malformed, abusive, or over the limits below.
Free use includes a limited number of try-ons, Describe looks, and Inspo imports. We also cap requests per install and per IP per day to prevent abuse.
Nailroom Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store:
Plus unlocks unlimited try-ons, Describe, and Inspo (subject to the abuse cap above) and watermark-free exports. The free App remains usable without Plus: you can browse the library, and you get 5 try-ons, 3 Describe looks, and 3 Inspo imports.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Unused time in a period is not refunded except where required by law. Apple's standard EULA also applies to purchases made through the App Store.
Prices may vary by storefront. We do not offer a free trial.
You may not reverse engineer the App, abuse the renderer (including automated or high-volume requests), upload images you do not have the right to use, or use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
The App, its design, catalog copy, and editorial assets are owned by Nigelware. Designs you import remain yours or their original owners'. Apple, the App Store, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that try-ons, catalog stills, or Describe interpretations will be error-free, photorealistic, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nigelware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Nailroom Plus in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use only the free App.
If you downloaded the App from the App Store, these Terms are between you and Nigelware, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
