Nigelware ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Sperminal mobile application (the "App"). Sperminal is a personal sperm-health pipeline tracker that simulates the approximately 90-day behavioural impact window of spermatogenesis (~74 days of sperm production plus epididymal transit) and helps you log daily lifestyle habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
Privacy First: Sperminal is a fully on-device app. Your habit logs, simulation state, and any health-related information you enter never leave your device. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Information We Collect
User-Provided Data
Daily Habit Logs: Positive and negative lifestyle inputs you choose to record (such as sleep, hydration, exercise, nutrition, alcohol, heat exposure, smoking, and similar factors)
Simulation State: Your cohort progression, scores, active effects, and trajectory data generated by the in-app simulation engine
Settings Preferences: Notification preferences, display options, and other in-app settings
Optional Data: Any feedback or support requests you choose to send us by email
Automatically Collected Data
Sperminal does not automatically collect any personal data, device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, or analytics. The App contains no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash reporting.
Sensitive Health Information
Health Data: The information you log in Sperminal relates to reproductive and lifestyle health. We treat this as sensitive. It is stored only on your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is not written to Apple HealthKit unless a future feature explicitly asks for your permission to do so.
How We Use Your Information
The information you enter is used solely to:
Run the in-app simulation that models your sperm-health pipeline
Display your daily score, trajectory, history, and heatmap
Trigger local reminders that you have explicitly enabled
Generate share cards or text snapshots when you choose to share progress
Notifications
Sperminal may send you local notifications to remind you to log your day or to highlight key moments in your pipeline. These notifications are:
Generated entirely on your device
Only sent if you grant notification permission
Fully controllable through the App's settings or your device's notification settings
Not sent through any external push notification service
Sharing Features
Sperminal includes an optional sharing feature that lets you share a snapshot of your pipeline progress (for example with a partner) using the standard iOS share sheet. Sharing is always initiated by you. The shared content is generated on your device and sent only to the destination you choose. Nigelware never sees, receives, or stores anything you share.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: All habit logs and simulation data are stored locally on your device
No Cloud Storage: We do not operate any servers that hold your data, and we do not use CloudKit, Firebase, or any other backend service to sync or back up your information
No Accounts: Sperminal does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any identifying information
Security: We rely on iOS platform security to protect your data, including device encryption and app sandboxing
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share.
Children's Privacy
Sperminal is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally on the device and never transmitted, there is minimal privacy risk. If you believe a child has used the App, you can permanently remove all associated data by deleting the App from the device.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access all your logs and simulation data directly within the App
Edit or delete individual day logs at any time
Permanently delete all data by removing the App from your device
Control notification preferences within the App or in iOS Settings

This App is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's privacy policies and terms of service in addition to our own.
