Scions of Olympus is a Greek-myth roguelike deckbuilder: discover which god is your parent, build a deck of divine powers, and climb from a hidden summer camp to the peak of Olympus — one run at a time. We're happy to help with any questions or issues.
The first time you open Scions of Olympus, you'll be claimed by a god and shown the ropes in a short tutorial. From Camp Bronzewood you choose your cabin — Zeus (build up Charge, then unleash it) or Poseidon (raise a wall of Block, then break it over your foes) — and set out on a quest. Each quest is a branching climb of battles, campfires, shops, and events, ending in a boss. Win or lose, you return to camp a little stronger and set out again.
Yes. Your current quest and your camp progress are saved automatically on your device. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to. You can quit mid-quest and pick up right where you left off. Note that deleting the App erases its saved data, and there is currently no cloud backup, so progress does not transfer between devices.
No. Scions of Olympus is designed to be fully playable offline — on a plane, underground, anywhere. When your device supports Apple Intelligence, the Oracle may compose a fresh prophecy for your quest using Apple's on-device model; this happens entirely on your device and never sends anything over the internet. When that isn't available, the Oracle simply draws from a set of hand-written prophecies instead. Either way, no connection is required.
Scions of Olympus is free to download and play — the entire first Act, both cabins, and the Oracle are yours at no cost. A single one-time purchase, The Full Ascent, unlocks the rest of the climb (Acts II and III and the Ascension ladder). There are no advertisements and no other purchases. If you buy the unlock and later reinstall, you can restore it for free from the paywall screen.
Scions of Olympus collects no personal information, shows no ads, and includes no tracking. It does contain stylized fantasy combat against mythological monsters, so please check the App Store age rating to decide if it's a good fit. See our Privacy Policy for details on data.
