AI Analysis and Third-Party Services
Important: We use Google's Gemini AI service to analyze your hair photos and generate insights.
Gemini AI: Your hair photos are securely transmitted to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis. Google processes these images according to their privacy policy and terms of service.
Data Minimization: Only necessary photo data is sent for analysis. Personal identifiers are not included in the transmission.
No Facial Recognition: Photos should focus on hair and scalp areas only. We do not use facial recognition technology.
Temporary Processing: Photos sent to Gemini AI are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored by Google for purposes beyond the analysis.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: Your scan sessions, photos, analysis results, and personal data are primarily stored locally on your device using SwiftData
Cloud Backup: If you have iCloud enabled, your data may be backed up to iCloud according to Apple's privacy policy
Encryption: Sensitive data, including API keys and health information, is encrypted and stored securely
Security Measures: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction
No Public Sharing: Your photos and analysis results are never shared publicly or sold to third parties
Subscription and Payment
We use Superwall and Apple's StoreKit for subscription management:
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Subscription Data: We track your subscription status to provide access to premium features
First Scan Free: Your first scan is always free. Subsequent scans require an active subscription.
