Guardrail is a self-help tool designed to assist adults in managing gambling urges. The App provides app and website blocking, cooldown timers, streak tracking, and motivational notifications. Guardrail is not a substitute for professional treatment, counseling, or medical advice.
The App is intended for individuals aged 17 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 17 years of age.
If you set a PIN and forget it without having a recovery phone number configured, you will need to delete and reinstall the App, which will reset all settings and data. We cannot recover your PIN as it is stored only on your device.
Your privacy is fundamental to Guardrail. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how your data is handled.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will block all gambling content, be error-free, or be available at all times. App and website blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and DNS filtering, which have inherent limitations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nigelware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses from gambling.
All content, design, and code within the App are owned by Nigelware and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
