Nigelware ("we," "our," or "us") makes Dislex (the "App"), a phonics reading game that helps young children — including children with dyslexia — learn to read. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
Dislex collects no personal data. None. It runs entirely on your device, with no account to create, no sign-in, no internet connection required to play, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking code of any kind. Nothing your child does in the App is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or otherwise have any access to your or your child's information. Specifically, the App does not collect:

This information never leaves the device. It is not uploaded, sent to our servers, or shared, and Nigelware cannot see, read, or recover it. Any first name you enter for a child is stored only on the device to label that child's profile and is never transmitted anywhere.
All of Dislex's lessons, stories, artwork, and sounds are built into the App. It does not need an internet connection to teach, and it never sends your child's activity anywhere. The only time the App communicates beyond your device is through Apple, for the optional purchase described below.
Dislex is free to download and includes a free set of worlds. Families can make a single one-time purchase ("Unlock Everything") to open the full App. This purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store:
Dislex is intended for young children and is built to be safe for them by design. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone — including children — it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar children's privacy laws.
We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any data to any third party, because we do not collect any data in the first place.
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third party involved is Apple, solely to deliver the App and to process the optional in-app purchase and Family Sharing, which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the "Last Updated" date above. Because the App collects no data, changes will typically be clarifications only.
